September 24 (SeeNews) - Construction company Jedinstvo [BEL:JESV] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday but led the blue-chip gainers, as share indices ended down, bourse data showed.
A total of 48 of Jedinstvo's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 247,200 dinars. The company closed up 0.88% at 5,150 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, fell 0.34% to 730.56 points on Monday. The index rising 0.38% on Friday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, declined 0.25% to 1,536.98 points on Monday, after increasing 0.35% on Friday.
Household appliances maker Alfa plam [BEL:ALFA] paced the blue-chip decliners on Monday, after losing 2.41% and closing at 33,605 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse fell to 1.6 million dinars ($15,926/13,537 euro) on Monday from 37.9 million dinars on Friday, as 92 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 862,420 dinars.
