September 15 (SeeNews) - Construction company Jedinstvo [BEL:JESV] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as share indices increased, bourse data showed.
Jedinstvo won 5.77% and closed at 5,500 dinars. A total of 200 shares in the company changed hands, generating a turnover of 1.1 million dinars.
Agricultural chemicals producer Galenika Fitofarmacija [BEL:FITO] generated a turnover of 4.7 million dinars, the highest among the blue chips on Friday, as 1,743 of its shares were traded in ten deals. The company closed flat at 2,700 dinars.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] was the most traded blue chip, as 6,046 of its shares changed hands in 156 transactions. NIS won 0.15% and closed at 669 dinars, generating a turnover of 4 million dinars
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, rose 0.46% to 730.05 points on Friday. On Thursday, the index fell 0.31%.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, went up 0.07% on Friday and closed at 1,628.51 points, after increasing 0.61% on Thursday.
Aluminium rolling mill Impol Seval [BEL:IMPL] paced the blue-chip decliners on Friday, as its share price fell by 0.73% to 3,921 dinars. A total of 21 shares in the company changed hands, generating a turnover of 82,350 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse declined to 17.3 million dinars ($173,812/145,074 euro) on Friday, from 18.4 million dinars on Thursday, as 312 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 496,316 dinars.
In the period between September 11 and 15, BELEX15 and BELEXline won 0.38% and 0.61%, respectively.
Industrial gases producer Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] led the blue-chip gainers' list this week, as it won 3.20% in the period and closed at 12,384 dinars on Friday. A total of 51 shares in the company changed hands, generating a turnover of 628,484 dinars.
The total value of trading in shares on the Belgrade stock market in the period between September 11 and 15 was 73.9 million dinars, versus 76.1 million dinars in the previous week.
The total value of the trade in Treasury bonds came in at 755.8 million dinars, versus 2.1 billion dinars last week.
