March 28 (SeeNews) - Construction company Jedinstvo [BEL:JESV] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade bourse on Tuesday, as share indices decreased, stock exchange data showed.
Jedinstvo won 2.72% on Tuesday and closed at 4,304 dinars. A total of 538 of the company's shares changed hands in four transactions, generating a turnover of 2.3 million dinars.
Civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] was the most traded company, as 6,153 of its shares were traded in 46 deals. Energoprojekt generated a share turnover of 9.0 million dinars, the highest one among the blue chips. The company won 0.14% and closed the session at 1,462 dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, declined 0.68% to 739.44 points on Tuesday. On Monday, the index fell 0.22% to 744.49.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, fell 0.42% and closed Tuesday's session at 1,615.02. The index edged down 0.12% to 1,621.77 on Monday.
Industrial gases producer Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] paced the blue-chip decliners in Belgrade on Tuesday. Its shares fell 6.55% and closed at 12,989 dinars. A total of 153 shares in the company changed hands, generating a trading turnover of 2.0 million dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse rose to 62.6 million dinars ($548,569/505,162 euro) on Tuesday from 9.2 million dinars on Monday, as a total of 209 transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse contributed 4.7 million dinars to the total turnover of the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
A single transaction of Treasury bonds was carried out on Tuesday. A total of 12,000 bonds of the dinar-denominated RSO16142 issue changed hands, generating a trading turnover of 126.3 million dinars. The bonds bear a coupon of 5.75% and mature on July 21, 2023.
The total trading turnover on the Belgrade bourse amounted to 26.6 million dinars on Tuesday.
