April 26 (SeeNews) - Construction group Jedinstvo [BEL:JESV] generated the highest stock turnover on the Belgrade bourse on Wednesday, as share indices ended mixed, stock exchange data showed.
Jedinstvo generated a stock turnover of 1.1 million dinars on Wednesday and was also the most traded company, as 230 of its shares changed hands in three transactions. The construction group was the second-biggest gainer among the blue-chips on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, as it won 0.70% to 4,733 dinars.
Aluminium rolling mill Impol Seval [BEL:IMPL] led the blue-chip gainers on the Belgrade bourse, after adding 1.81% to 3,258 dinars. A total of 132 Impol Seval shares changed hands, generating a turnover 430,030 dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, declined 0.12% to 731.56 points on Wednesday. On Tuesday, the index fell 0.27% to 732.41.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, won 0.18% and closed Wednesday's session at 1,579.23. The index lost 0.28% to 1,576.33 on Tuesday.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] paced the blue-chip decliners on the Belgrade bourse on Wednesday, after losing 0.66% to 750 dinars. The company generated a stock turnover of 396,000 dinars, as 528 of its shares changed hands.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse rose to 4.6 million dinars ($40,637/37,332 euro) on Wednesday from 22.3 million dinars on Tuesday, as 160 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 1.1 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 789 million dinars to the session's total trading turnover of 793.6 million dinars on the bourse. Two transactions of Treasury bonds were carried out on Wednesday. A total of 74,521 bonds of the dinar-denominated RSO15112 issue changed hands. The bonds bear a coupon of 10% and mature on April 27, 2018.
