July 11 (SeeNews) - The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed with Moldova a loan agreement worth 13.5 billion yen ($96.1 million/87.2 million euro) to provide budgetary support to the government, it said.
"While mitigating the impact of the war on Ukrainian refugees and Moldovan citizens, the loan will also build resilience and enhance competitiveness in order to reduce vulnerabilities to future shocks," JICA said in a press release on Monday.
The loan will have to be repaid over 40 years, with a grace period of ten years.
