December 17 (SeeNews) - Hotel operator Jadran [ZSE:JDRN] topped the blue-chip gainers' list on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) on Monday, bourse data showed.
Jadran's shares closed 6.3% higher at 13.50 kuna.
Hotel operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] generated the highest trading turnover of 4.6 million kuna. The company closed up 5.71% at 37.0 kuna.
Shipbuilder Viktor Lenac [ZSE:VLEN] paced the blue-chip decliners, as its share price decreased by 4.58% to 6.25 kuna.
The bourse's total trading turnover grew to 18 million kuna ($2.8 million/2.4 million euro) on Monday from 9.8 million kuna on Friday.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the ZSE rose 0.61% to 1,744.58 points, after going up 0.06% on Friday.
The narrower of the bourse's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, went up 0.76% to 1,024.11 points, after increasing 0.41% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS index closed down 0.07% at 111.0011 points.
