August 3 (SeeNews) - Italy's UniCredit Group said on Wednesday its first-half net profit in all southeast European countries in which the bank operates rose 16% on the year to 279 million euro ($311.6 million).
In the SEE region, the bank has operations in Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Serbia, and Slovenia.
UniCredit Bulbank, the bank's unit in Bulgaria, had the highest net profit in the region, generating 98 million euro for January-June, up by an annual 6.8%.

UniCredit's net profit from all its units jumped 28% to 916 million euro, the bank said in its interim financial statement.
