December 11 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism has said Italian company Impresa Pizzarotti was the only bidder to have passed the pre-qualification stage of a tender for the construction of an aerial lift connecting Kotor to Cetinje.
Impresa Pizzarotti was the only bidder in the pre-qualification stage and its offer met the conditions set in the tender, the ministry said in a statement last week.
The deadline for the submission of bids for the construction of the aerial lift, which will cross the Lovcen National Park, expired on October 16, the minister said.
In 2013, the Montenegrin government said it plans to invest 46.5 million euro ($54.9 million) in the construction of a 15 km-long detachable gondola system, including the installation of 17 pillars.
