January 3 (SeeNews) - Italian company Palumbo Group is interested in taking part in the process of restructuring and diversification of Croatian shipyard Uljanik [ZSE:ULJN], the shipyard announced.
"A letter of intent from the second potential strategic partner Palumbo Group S.p.A. Napoli, has been received," the Pula-based shipyard said in a filling to the Zagreb Stock Exchange on Tuesday.

Uljanik earlier said it has also received a letter of intent from Croatia's Kermas Energija.
The company provided no further details in the filing.
Palumbo Shipyards, with headquarters in Naples, has been in the shipbuilding industry since 1967.
