August 24 (SeeNews) - Italian diversified holding DBA Group said it has signed a 9.6 million euro ($11.3 million) contract for the delivery of a centralised case management system for the Serbian judiciary.
A consortium led by DBA Group's Serbian subsidiary Unistar LC won the project in a tender launched by the European Union, the company said in a statement on Monday.
"In Unistar LC our engineers assemble a new generation of data centre infrastructures generally referred to as the Hyperconverged datacenter solution, which natively reduces storage, networking and virtualisation functions in a single solution. This type of approach will allow us to reduce administrative costs without compromising the resilience and efficiency of the IT structure, providing the ideal solution for the case management system of the Serbian judiciary," Unistar LC CEO Marko Milotic said.
The centralized file management system will be activated for Serbian courts on a national scale and arises from the need to bring the ICT management of the Serbian judicial system closer to European Union standards, DBA Group said.
