July 2 (SeeNews) - Italian business process outsourcing services provider Comdata said on Tuesday it has closed the acquisition of Turkish contact centre services firm CallUs from KocSistem, the IT unit of local conglomerate Koc Holding [BIST:KCHOL].
CallUs will continue to operate in the same locations, under the same brand, and with the same team, the Italian company said in a statement.

CallUs, founded in 2003, has a staff of 1,400 and is the fourth largest player operating in the contact center services outsourcing market in Turkey with two locations in Istanbul and Samsun, the statement said. In 2012 alone, the company registered more than 18 million calls.
CallUs has a market share of 5.3%, the statement added.
Its customers are active in the telecommunications and IT, financial services, insurance, energy, automotive and retail sectors.
The statement quoted data of the Turkish Call Centers Association, according to which the Turkish market for outsourcing services will experience further growth in the coming years at the rate of 18%.
