BELGRADE (Serbia), November 22 (SeeNews) – Italian apparel company Calzedonia has opened a production plant in Kula, in northern Serbia, the government of the northern Serbian province of Vojvodina said.
The new factory, Calzedonia's fifth in Serbia, will have 300 employees and will contribute to the acceleration of Vojvodina's economic growth, the provincial government said in a statement.
"We believe that the future of Serbia and Vojvodina is bright, which is why we are expanding our production," the president of Calzedonia, Sandro Veronesi, said.
Calzedonia has 3,500 employees in Serbia working in four factories, all of them located in Vojvodina.
