BELGRADE (Serbia), September 29 (SeeNews) – Italian apparel company Calzedonia has opened a 16 million euro ($22 million) ready-to-wear factory in Serbia and plans to expand its capacity in the future, the press office of Serbian President Boris Tadic said.
Tadic and the president of Calzedonia Group, Sandro Veronesi, inaugurated the Fiorano factory in Sombor, in northern Serbia, on Tuesday, a press release published on the president's website said.
No information was immediately available on the factory's output capacity.
Calzedonia (www.calzedonia.it) has production units in Italy, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania and Sri Lanka and over 3,000 retail outlets worldwide.
