BELGRADE (Serbia), December 27 (SeeNews) – Italian payment software solutions developer TAS has closed the acquisition of a 80% stake in the capital of Serbian sector player Bassilichi CEE for an undisclosed price, the Italian company said.
The shareholding interest was acquired from payment solutions company Gruppo Nexi and the transaction does not involve a significant financial outlay for TAS, the Italian company said in a statement last week.

"The acquisition of the Bassilichi CEE Group, with whom we had been in business agreements since 2015, represents an important step for the international expansion of TAS," the president of the company, Dario Pardi, said.
TAS plans to rename Bassilichi CEE to TAS Eastern Europe, Pardi added.
Bassilichi CEE closed 2017 with a revenue of 5.4 million euro ($6.2 million), TAS said.
The Serbian company is specialised in the development and installation of platforms for the management of transactions through POS, ATMs, self-service kiosks and mobile devices. It is also active in the design and development of software applications for banks and financial institutions through its subsidiary ArsBlue.
