SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), April 20 (SeeNews) – Italian footwear producer Olip will open a plant in Bosnia's central municipality of Donji Vakuf, its second in the country, on April 21, Bosnia's Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) said.
The new plant will initially employ 120 workers, before its workforce increases to 300 by the end of June, FIPA said in a statement on Thursday.
Olip already operates a plant in Bosnia's central town of Travnik.
In 2015, FIPA said that Olip's plant in Bosnia accounts for 99.1% of the total Olip group production, adding that it has a daily production capacity of over 6,500 pairs of shoes.
