May 31 (SeeNews) - Borsa Istanbul and the Tirana Stock Exchange have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the further development of their existing cooperation, Borsa Istanbul said on Friday.
"Under the MoU, the parties intend to cooperate in specific areas such as developing projects and opportunities to exchange information and expertise pertaining to their activities, markets and operations in order to contribute to the advancement of the capital markets in each of the two countries [..]," the Istanbul bourse said in a statement on its website.
The two marketplace operators also plan to set up a secondary fixed income market at the Tirana Stock Exchange.
