December 5 (SeeNews) - Israel-based food tech company NextFerm will open a factory for the production of fermented vegan protein in the southwestern part of North Macedonia, local media reported on Monday.
The new plant is expected to have the capacity to produce ProteVin worth up to $10 million (9.5 million euro) annually, news outlet Faktor said.
The micro-factory will be located in the industrial zone of the city, replacing the company's pilot production facility.
NextFerm, based in Yokneam, Israel, is a food-tech company producing vegan, non GMO proteins. Its products are used in food and dietary supplements.
