January 24 (SeeNews) - Internet services company Ionos, part of Germany-based United Internet, has launched operations in Bulgaria and Hungary, Budapest Business Journal reported on Friday.
"Hungary and Bulgaria are countries with high GDP growth and potential for digital transformation," Marcin Kusmierz, president of home.pl, which is responsible for the international expansion of the Ionos brand in the Central and Eastern Europe region, was quoted as saying by the Budapest Business Journal.
In Southeast Europe, Ionos is also present in Romania.
Ionos operates 90,000 servers globally and employs some 2,000 people worldwide.
