LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), January 28 (SeeNews) – The benchmark index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) fell on Tuesday, as logistics company Intereuropa [LJE:IEKG] recorded the sharpest losses among the blue chips, erasing gains it recorded in the previous session, bourse data showed.
Intereuropa's shares closed 24.06% lower at 1.42 euro. On Monday, Intereuropa shares jumped 16.88% to a closing price of 1.87 euro.
Port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] posted the biggest gains among the blue chips on Tuesday. Luka Koper shares rose 0.84% to a closing price of 24.0 euro.
The blue-chip SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, ended Tuesday's session 0.25% lower at 961.14 points.
Pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the largest turnover among blue-chip companies on Tuesday – of 903,730 euro.
Total regulated market daily turnover amounted to 1.58 million euro ($1.7 million).
