LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), May 31 (SeeNews) – Slovenian reinsurer Sava Re [LJE:POSR] said on Friday it has entered into an agreement with investment company InterCapital Securities for the provision of market-making services for the Sava Re share.
InterCapital Securities, a member of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE), will provide market-making services to the blue-chip company starting from June 3, 2019, Sava Re said in a bourse filing.
In January, the LJSE said it signed a contract with InterCapital Securities to re-establish their market-making services agreement after a ten-year pause.
InterCapital Securities is already providing market-making services to two blue-chip companies traded on the LJSE - pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] and insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav [LJE:ZVTG] since February 1, 2019.
The LJSE noted that by re-establishing the market-making service, it has taken a new step towards increasing the liquidity and international comparability of the Slovenian stock market.
Market makers had been present on the Slovenian capital market until 2009.
