July 24 (SeeNews) - Insurer Croatia Osiguranje has sought clearance from Bosnia's competition authority to acquire a 100% holding in Bosnian peer Central Osiguranje, the regulator said.
The transaction is estimated to have an impact on the non-life insurance market in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the regulator said in a statement on Monday.

The competition authority called on all relevant parties to give their thoughts on the acquisition.
In June, Croatia Osiguranje said it signed deals for the acquisition of 100% ownership of Bosnian companies Central Osiguranje and Testing Grupa.
Following the transactions, Croatia Osiguranje's Bosnian unit, Croatia Osiguranje BiH (CO BiH), will become leader on the Bosnian insurance market with a 13% share.
