February 28 (SeeNews) - Diversified conglomerate Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:4ID] was the top blue-chip decliner on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange on Tuesday, bourse data showed.
Industrial Holding Bulgaria shares closed 3.56% lower at 1.003 levs as 8,400 of the company’s shares changed hands.
Total stock trading turnover rose to 575,700 levs ($312,200/294,000 euro) on Tuesday, from 291,000 levs on Monday.
The blue-chip SOFIX index fell 0.22% to 611.12 points, after adding 0.84% on Monday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, increased by 0.43% to 120.56 points, after closing 0.50% higher on Monday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of the real estate investment trusts, rose 0.27% to 107.83 points, after edging up 0.07% on Monday.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, added 0.69% to 486.06 points, after increasing 0.55% on Monday.
Construction company Trace Group Hold [BUL:T57] led the blue-chip gainers on Tuesday, rising 2.88% to 4.784 levs, as 130 of its shares changed hands on the Sofia bourse.
Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:4CF] was the most traded blue-chip on the Sofia bourse on Tuesday, as 182,009 of its shares changed hands at an average price of 1.598 levs.
