September 2 (SeeNews) - Indonesian food producer Indofood has opened an 11 million euro ($12.3 million) noodles factory, Idomije, in the Serbian municipality of Indjija, the country's president Tomislav Nikolic said via Twitter.
Indofood will produce instant soups in Indjija where it plans to employ some 450 people, the town's local authorities told SeeNews recently.
The products produced in the factory will be sold on both domestic and international markets.
Indofood headquartered in Jakarta, operates in all stages of food manufacturing from the production of raw materials and their processing through to consumer products.
