September 21 (SeeNews) - Indian edge data centre (EDC) creator VueNow Infotech said it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bulgaria's Plovdiv Tech Park to help strengthen the European country’s data centre infrastructure.
VueNow Infotech plans to develop a master hub location with a 100-rack tier-4 data centre and six EDCs in the initial phase, according to the MoU signed during a visit by a company delegation to Bulgaria in August, the Indian company's founder and CEO Sukhwinder Singh Kharour said in a statement last week.
“Apart from setting up the DCs and EDCs, the company also plans to open skill development centres across Bulgaria to train youth in IT skills and then absorb them into the company’s technical departments, thus generating employment,” Kharour added.
VueNow Infotech was formed in 2019 with the aim to become India’s most preferred computer power and data storage provider. The company is working on establishing the largest edge computing network by 2025, India's The Economic Times has reported.
