March 24 (SeeNews) - India-based car parts manufacturer Sandhar Technologies will invest 25 million euro ($29.7 million) in a factory in Brasov county, central Romania, county council president Adrian Ioan Vestea said.
Sandhar Technologies estimated that it will begin production of aluminium parts for the automotive industry next year, Adrian Ioan Vestea said in a social media post on Tuesday, following a meeting with representatives of the company.

The 7,000 sq m production plant will employ some 125 people and will be located in the Prejmer industrial park.
At the beginning of the month, the Indian company announced that it has set up a branch in Bucharest - Sandhar Technologies RO, through its Spanish subsidiary Sandhar Technologies Barcelona, in order to prepare the launch of its local operations.
Sandhar Technologies Limited is a global manufacturer of automotive components founded in 1987. The group operates 35 manufacturing facilities across India, two in Spain, and one in Mexico.
