March 28 (SeeNews) - Croatian oil and gas company INA [ZSE:INA] said on Tuesday it agreed with Italy’s KT – Kinetics Technology to increase by some 9% the value of the original contract for the construction of a Residue Upgrade unit in INA's Rijeka refinery.
An annex to the contract was signed in Zagreb by INA’s CEO Peter Ratatics, INA’s operating director of refining and marketing Goran Plese, and the managing director of KT Alessandro Bernini, INA said in a filing to the Zagreb Stock Exchange, without elaborating.
KT is the main contractor for the project.
The value of the original contract signed between INA and KT in December 2019 topped 3.3 billion kuna ($474 million/438 million euro).
INA’s shares closed 6.28% higher at 474 euro on the Zagreb bourse on Monday. They did not trade by 1300 local time on Tuesday.
