August 18 (SeeNews) - Serbian aluminium rolling mill Impol Seval [BEL:IMPL] led the blue-chips gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as share indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
Impol Seval won 3.57% and closed at 4,172 dinars, as 600 of its shares changed hands in eight deals, generating a turnover of 2.5 million dinars, the highest among the blue chips.
Civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL], in turn, was the most traded blue chip, as 750 of its shares changed hands in 25 deals, generating a turnover of 917,358 dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, edged down 0.05% to 721.01 points on Friday. On Thursday, the index went up 0.44%.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, increased 0.20% on Friday and closed at 1,555.55 points, after growing 0.26% on Thursday.
Construction company Jedinstvo [BEL:JESV] paced the blue-chip decliners on the Belgrade bourse on Friday after losing 1.96% and closing at 5,000 dinars. Jedinstvo generated a turnover of 220,008 dinars, as 44 of its shares changed hands.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse fell to 8.6 million dinars ($84,571/72,020 euro) on Friday from 11.2 million dinars on Thursday, as 231 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 263,517 dinars.
In the period between August 14 and 18, BELEX15 and BELEXline lost 0.46% and 0.29%, respectively.
Soybean processing company Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] led the blue-chip gainers' list this week, as it won 9.25% in the period and closed at 307 dinars on Friday. A total of 513 shares in the company changed hands, generating a turnover of 156,783 dinars.
The total value of trading in shares on the Belgrade stock market in the period between August 14 and 18 was 58.9 million dinars, versus 137.9 million dinars in the previous week.
The total value of the trade in Treasury bonds came in at 702 million dinars, versus 695.1 million dinars last week.
