March 4 (SeeNews) - Austrian real estate investor and developer Immofinanz Group has started the construction of the tenth retail park under its Stop Shop brand in Serbia, the company said.
The retail park, located in Sremska Mitrovica, will have around 7,000 square metres of retail space and will be opened in August, Immofinanz said in a statement on Friday.
"The construction of our tenth Serbian Stop Shop retail park in Sremska Mitrovica underlines the commitment we made in 2015 when entering the Serbian market – to expand our multinational retail park chain. The new Stop Shop will offer the citizens of Sremska Mitrovica and the surrounding area a unique shopping experience," Josko Pitesa, operations manager Serbia for Immofinanz, said at the official ground-breaking ceremony.
The Stop Shop will be located in the west of Sremska Mitrovica with access to one of the main roads, directly next to a major supermarket. Among the Stop Shop tenants are brands such as New Yorker, LC Waikiki, Deichmann, Sport Vision and DM.
Immofinanz opened its first Stop Shop retail park in Serbia in Cacak in April 2015.
