SOFIA (Bulgaria), April 13 (SeeNews) – Integrated Micro-Electronics (IMI) Bulgaria has invested 7.62 million levs ($4.1 million/3.9 million euro) in expanding the capacity of its production plant in Botevgrad, some 60 km northeast of Sofia, the economy ministry said.
The investment includes launching three new production lines for electric modules assembly, the ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
As a result, the company expects to increase its production capacity by 25-30%.
The investment will create 400 jobs, the ministry said.
IMI Bulgaria has a registered capital of 1.95 million levs, according to data from Bulgaria’s commercial registry.
