October 4 (SeeNews) - The International Monetary Fund (IMF) said on Tuesday it has increased its 2016 economic growth forecast for Kosovo to 4.1% in its latest World Economic Outlook (WEO) survey, from 3.4% projected in the previous WEO edition released in April.
Next year, the country's economic growth is expected to slow down to 3.3%, the IMF said in the October edition of its World Economic Outlook. In April, the IMF forecast Kosovo's economy would expand by 4.3% in 2017.
In 2021, Kosovo's economy is expected to grow by 4.0%, the IMF said.
