December 5 (SeeNews) - The banking unit of Austria's Hypo Group Alpe-Adria in Bosnia's Serb Republic said on Friday it posted a net profit of 5.5 million marka ($3.5 million/2.8 million euro) in the first nine months of 2014.
The lender did not provide comparative figures for the same period in 2013.
The bank’s net interest and similar income totalled 17.4 million marka through September, Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank a.d Banja Luka [BANJ:KRLB-R-A] said in its financial statement filed with the Banja Luka Stock Exchange.
The bank's total assets stood at 1.1 billion marka at the end of September.
Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank a.d Banja Luka ended 2013 with a loss of 69 million marka, compared to a net profit of 7.8 million marka a year ago.
Austria's Hypo Group Alpe-Adria has another unit in Bosnia and Herzegovina - Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank d.d Mostar located in Bosnia’s other entity, the Muslim-Croat Federation.
