July 25 (SeeNews) - Shares of Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] shed 0.62% to 160.5 kuna on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) on Thursday, after the company reported a drop in first-half profit, bourse data showed.
Telecommunication equipment manufacturer Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT] closed 1.77% higher at 1,150 kuna. The company said on Thursday its first-half consolidated net profit increased 15.6% on the year to 71.1 million kuna.
Hrvatski Telekom generated the highest trading turnover among the blue-chip companies on the ZSE, of 1.9 million kuna. The telco announced on Thursday that its first-half consolidated net profit fell 1.2% on the year to 435.3 million kuna.
Atlantska Plovidba led the blue-chip gainers on the ZSE, as the shipping company's shares closed 5.09% higher at 413 kuna.
Power transmission equipment manufacturer Dalekovod [ZSE:DLKV] paced the blue-chip losers, as its share price fell 6.35% to 5.90 kuna.
Optima Telekom's [ZSE:OPTE] shares lost 0.88% to 5.60 kuna. The company said on Wednesday it recorded a consolidated net profit of 5 million kuna in the first half of 2019, compared to a net loss of 3.9 million kuna a year earlier.
ZSE's total trading turnover rose slightly to 6.5 million kuna ($979,948/877,509 euro) on Thursday, from 6.4 million kuna on Wednesday.
The 25-share benchmark index CROBEX rose 0.20% to 1,918.62 after growing 0.14% in the previous trading session.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, edged up 0.02% to 1,110.85 after increasing 0.23% on Wednesday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index closed flat at 115.9053.
