October 28 (SeeNews) - Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] said on Friday it signed with electricity producer Liburana, a fully-owned subsidiary of renewable energy company Professio Energia [ZSE:DLPR], a term sheet for the first ever corporate renewable energy Virtual Power Purchase Agreement (vPPA) in Croatia.
According to the agreement, Liburana will build a wind power plant, Mazin Gracac, in Lika region, which will produce 50 GWh electricity per year and will start operations in last quarter of 2024, Hrvatski Telekom said in a press release.

The agreement is set to be for a ten-year period.
Shares of Hrvatski Telekom traded flat at 175 kuna ($23.1/23.2 euro) on intraday on Friday on the Zagreb bourse.
The shares of Professio Energia were listed on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) in October 2019 but have not traded yet.
