March 8 (SeeNews) - An emergency hospital in the central Romanian city of Targu Mures launched a tender worth more than 295 million lei ($63.5 million/59.9 million euro) for the construction of a burn centre, it said.
Financing for the project will be secured from a loan between Romania and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which aims to back a reform of the health sector, the hospital said in a press release on Monday.
The new building will include a severe burns centre with 15 beds, an operating theatre, an anesthesia and an intensive care section.
