March 19 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian diversified group Holding Varna [BUL:5V2] was the top blue-chip decliner on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange on Monday, bourse data showed.
Holding Varna closed 9.5% lower at 36.2 levs ($22.8/18.5 euro) in a trading volume of 25 shares.
The blue-chip SOFIX index fell by 1.20% to 671.8 points on Monday after adding 0.11% on Friday.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, added 0.91% to 131.74 points, following a 0.89% increase on Friday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, decreased by 0.24% at 116.41 points, after remaining unchanged on Friday.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, decreased 0.29% to 548.69 points on Monday, after rising by 0.29% on Friday.
Total trading turnover on the BSE regulated market fell to 406,471 levs on Monday from 1.2 million levs on Friday.
Industrial conglomerate Chimimport [BUL:6C4] was the most traded blue chip on Monday, as 19,821 of its shares change hands at a weighted average price of 2.3496 levs.
Construction company Trace Group Hold [BUL:T57] rose the most among blue chips on Monday, closing 2.98% higher at 4.840 levs.
