May 2 (SeeNews) - Diversified conglomerate Holding Varna [BUL:5V2] led the blue-chip decliners on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday, bourse data shows.
Holding Varna shares closed 3.68% lower at 36.6 levs ($22.4/18.7 euro) in a trading volume of 15 shares.
Software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK] rose the most among blue chips, closing 2.32% higher at 0.970 levs.
BSE did not operate on Tuesday due to Labour Day holiday.
The blue-chip SOFIX index decreased by 0.58% to 654.28 points on Wednesday after edging down by 0.01% on Monday.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, lost 0.42% to 129.41 points, following a 0.30% drop on Monday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, added 0.10% to 115.63 points, after closing 0.01% lower on Monday.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, fell 0.12% to 539.72 points on Wednesday, after edging down 0.25% on Monday.
Total trading turnover on BSE's regulated market fell to 126,223 levs on Wednesday from 181,800 levs on Monday.
Bulgarian Real Estate Fund (BREF) [BUL:5BU] was the most traded blue chip, as 7,969 of its shares changed hands at a weighted average price per share of 1.8773 levs.
