March 22 (SeeNews) - Romania's agricultural company Holde Agri Invest [BSE:HAI] said on Wednesday that it acquired a farm in the southern county of Dambovita for 2 million euro ($2.1 million).
The company financed the purchase with 1.2 million euro of its own sources and will pay the rest of the agreed price in several instalments by the end of this year, Holde Agri Invest said in a filing with the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB.

The farm spreads on an area of around 980 hectares and brings the company's total operated farmland to approximately 13,200 hectares.
In the 2022-2023 agricultural year, Holde Agri Invest plans to sow rapeseed on 280 hectares at the new farm and put 70 hectares to maize.
Holde Agri Invest was established in 2018 and currently operates 14 agricultural entities, of which 12 are farms located in the counties of Teleorman, Dambovita and Calarasi.
Its shares traded 0.71% lower at 1.4 lei ($0.30/0.28 euro) as of 0943 CET on Wednesday, BVB data showed.
