September 16 (SeeNews) - Holcim Croatia, a unit of building materials producer LafargeHolcim, said it has appointed Dario Vrabec as CEO as of September 15.
Vrabec will replace Virna Viskovic Agusaj, who after spending almost six years at the head of the company, will take a position in Switzerland at Holcim Group as part of its global team for decarbonisation, the company said in a press release.
Vrabec has worked in the last 18 years in sales and markting of international consumer goods companies like Zvijezda and Ledo, and comes to Holcim from the position of CEO of dairy Lactalis in Bosnia.
In Croatia, Holcim operates one cement plant, two cement terminals, three ready mix concrete plants and four aggregates quarries.
