June 29 (SeeNews) - Sales of Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) in Serbia fell by 23% on the year to 158 million Swedish crowns ($17 million/15 million euro) in the first half of fiscal 2020, started December 1, 2019, the Swedish fashion retailer said.
In the local currency, H&M’s sales in Serbia decreased by an annual 24% in the December-May period, the company said in an interim financial report on Friday.
H&M operated a total of 14 stores in Serbia at the end of May.
In Southeast Europe, H&M is also present in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Romania, Croatia, Turkey and Bulgaria.
