September 27 (SeeNews) - Sales of Swedish fashion retailer Hennes&Mauritz (H&M) in Croatia rose 4% on the year to 639 million Swedish crowns ($72.3 million/61.8 million euro) in the first nine months of fiscal year 2018 started December 1, the company said on Thursday.
In the local currency, H&M sales in Croatia dropped 2% during the review period, the company said in an interim financial report.
In the third quarter of fiscal year 2018, H&M sales in Croatia rose 2% on the year to 229 million Swedish crowns. In the kuna currency, H&M sales in Croatia decreased 5% between June 1 and August 31.
H&M operated 15 stores in Croatia at the end of August.
In Southeast Europe, H&M is also present in Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia, Turkey and Serbia.
