January 31 (SeeNews) - The sales of Swedish fashion retailer Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) in Croatia increased by 1% on the year to 856 million Swedish crowns ($109.1 million/87.7 million euro) in fiscal year 2017, the company said on Wednesday.
In local currency, H&M sales in Croatia dropped 2% over the review period, the company said in its financial report for FY 2017 started December 1, 2016 and ended November 30, 2017.
In the last quarter of fiscal year 2017, H&M sales in Croatia dropped 4% on the year to 239 million Swedish crowns. In local kuna currency, H&M sales in Croatia fell 3% between September 1 and November 30.
H&M operated 15 stores in Croatia at the end of November, unchanged from 2016.
In Southeast Europe, H&M is also present in Slovenia, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and Turkey.
