March 31 (SeeNews) - Sales of Swedish fashion retailer Hennes&Mauritz (H&M) in Slovenia rose 1% on the year to 125 million Swedish crowns ($15.3 million/12.3 million euro) in the first quarter of fiscal 2018 starting December 1, the company said on Tuesday.
In the local currency, H&M sales in Slovenia declined by 2% over the review period, the company said in its first-quarter financial report posted on its website.
H&M closed one store and operated a total of 12 in Slovenia at the end of February.
In Southeast Europe, H&M is also present in Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Turkey and Serbia.
