November 28 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's TBG BH, a unit of Germany's HeidelbergCement, said it has opened a new plant that will manufacture high-quality concrete to serve the needs of the infrastructure construction industry.
The new plant, located in the southern city of Mostar, is strengthening TBG BH's position on the concrete manufacturing market in Bosnia, the company said in a statement on Wednesday without disclosing the value of the investment.
Kakanj-based TBG BH already has two concrete plans in the capital Sarajevo, two in Zenica, central Bosnia, and one each in the northeastern town of Lukavac and Banja Luka, in the country's north.
"Our concrete plants in the area of Zenica are the main suppliers of concrete for the construction of the Vc Corridor and other infrastructure facilities. And as of now, the concrete of highest quality will be also available to the most demanding and high-quality infrastructure facilities in the south of the country," the head of HeidelbergCement for Bosnia and Croatia, Branimir Miudza, said in the statement.
TBG BH was established in 2001 as a subsidiary of Bosnian cement producer Tvornica Cementa Kakanj, which is part of the HeidelbergCement group.
