BUCHAREST (Romania), July 17 (SeeNews) – Italian integrative healthcare services and products provider Health Italia said on Wednesday it has opened a unit in Romania.
The decision to set up Health Est Europe in Romania was due to the strategic position of the country in Eastern Europe, Health Italia said in a statement filed with the Milan Stock Exchange.
"We are very pleased to be taking this important new initiative that our group's efforts to implement strategies defined within the 2018-2020 Business Plan, through which we aim to achieve further dimensional growth. European internationalization of the activities carried out in Italy will contribute positively to both revenues and profitabilit," Health Italia S.p.A. CEO Massimiliano Alfieri said.
The Romanian unit will be led by Dr. Giulio Bertola, a former national coordinator within Health Italia. Bartola has been based in Romania for over 20 years holding various positions such as Vice-President of the Chamber of Italian Commerce for Romania and Vice-President Vicar of Confindustria Romania, of which he was also the founder in 2003.
Health Italy S.p.A. is an Italian company operating in the market for the promotion of supplementary healthcare solutions. The group is also active in providing healthcare services at its own facilities and in the production and distribution of nutraceutical and cosmeceutical products.
