May 23 (SeeNews) - Hand tools maker Unior [LJE:UKIG] was the top blue-chip gainer in Tuesday's trading session on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, bourse data showed.
The company's shares closed 2.44% higher, at 18.5 euro ($20.8), in a modest turnover of 11,320 euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, added 0.63% to 791.34 points, after edging up 0.21% on Monday.
Total trading turnover on the LJSE almost doubled to 1.33 million euro, from 689,560 euro previously.
Insurance company Triglav [LJE:ZVTG] generated the highest turnover on Tuesday, of 419,340 euro. The insurer's shares added 0.31% to a closing price of 27.1 euro.
Only two blue-chip companies - drug producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] and chemicals maker CInkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] - saw their price decline, by 0.28% and 0.26% respectively. Krka shares closed at 195 euro in a turnover of 129,630 euro, while Cinkarna Celje had a closed at 195 euro, generating Tuesday's second-largest turnover of 363,140 euro.
