January 10 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's machine parts manufacturer GS Tvornica Masina Travnik (GS-TMT) has built the country's first electric vehicle, local media reported.
The EVO electric vehicle is intended to be used for cargo deliveries of up to 300 kilograms, public service broadcaster BHRT reported on Sunday.
GS-TMT expects to finish the testing of EVO by mid-2023 with a view to getting a permit for serial production by the end of the year. The company has prepared a hall of 3,200 sq m in its factory for the production of the electric vehicle, according to the report.
GS-TMT is majority owned by Germany's mechanical engineering company Global Sourcing GmbH. The company has three production halls with a total area of 14,800 sq m in Travnik.
