March 19 (SeeNews) - GPS Bulgaria, a provider of GPS/GSM-based business solutions, has acquired Turkey-headqurtered cloud-based telematics solutions provider Mobiliz from Turkey-focused investment company Mediterra Capital, the advisor on the deal - Arma Partners, said.
"This transaction positions GPS Bulgaria as a regional leader in telematics in Central Eastern Europe with more than 400,000 installed units," Arma Partners said in a statement earlier this week.

"GPS Bulgaria will also benefit from Mobiliz’s established development team, which will serve as GPS Bulgaria’s regional hub for R&D activities," Arma Partners added.
Mobiliz offers telematics solutions for vehicle tracking, mobile video recording and camera tracking, and has over 15,000 customers. Mobiliz’s platform is capable of handling 500,000 units and generates more than 300 million new anonymous data points every month, the statement reads.
GPS Bulgaria provides GPS/GSM-based solutions for fleet management, vehicle security, personal tracking, monitoring of ships and railway vehicles, as well as other specialised business solutions.
