December 13 (SeeNews) - Slovenian home appliances maker Gorenje [LJE:GRVG] was the top blue-chip gainer in Wednesday’s trading session on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE), bourse data indicated.
Gorenje shares closed 2.80% higher at 5.5 euro ($6.46) in a trading turnover of 66,000 euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, rose 0.09% to 784.42 points on Wednesday. On Tuesday, the index closed 1.02% higher.
Trading turnover on the LJSE increased to 1.26 million euro on Wednesday from 1.1 million euro on Tuesday.
Drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the day’s largest turnover of 417,810 euro.
Insurer Pozavarovalnica Sava [LJSE:POSR] fell the most among blue chips on the LJSE, closing 1.58% lower at 15.6 euro.
