December 19 (SeeNews) - Home appliances manufacturer Gorenje [LJE:GRVG] was the top blue-chip decliner on Tuesday for a second straight trading session on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE), bourse data indicated.
Gorenje shares closed 2.73% lower at 5.35 euro ($6.31) in a trading turnover of 60,810 euro. On Monday, the company's shares fell by 1.79%.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, fell 0.69% to 786.71 points on Tuesday. On Monday, the index closed 0.11% lower.
Trading turnover on the LJSE rose to 992,980 euro on Tuesday from 865,610 euro on Monday.
Drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the day’s largest turnover of 303,060 euro.
Insurance company KD Group [LJE:KDHR] rose the most among the blue chips on the LJSE on Tuesday, closing 16.67% higher at 7.00 euro.
