November 29 (SeeNews) - Home appliances maker Gorenje [LJE:GRVG] was the biggest blue-chip decliner on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Tuesday, dragging down the bourse's main index SBITOP, bourse data showed.
Gorenje dropped 3.00% to 5.82 euro in 185,000 euro ($196,000) turnover, stock exchange data indicated.
Drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the largest turnover of 1 million euro among the blue chips, as the company's share price fell 1.35% to 51.30 euro. Earlier this month, Krka said its consolidated net profit dropped 40% year-on-year to 80.3 million euro in the first nine months.
On Friday, Krka said that it had repurchased 7,225 of its own shares for a total of 401,869 euro in the November 18 - 24 period and held 441,184 of its shares, representing a 1.345% stake.
LJSE's total turnover fell to 1.96 million euro on Tuesday from 2.9 million euro on Monday.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and highly capitalised stocks on the LJSE, closed 0.53% lower at 693.81 points after dropping 1.22% on Monday.
Four of the seven blue chips on the LJSE fell, while three rose.
Fuel retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] was the top blue-chip gainer, adding 0.32% to 318 euro.
